Love the album feature here. Love being able to insert text and maps and videos.

Why cant I change the privacy from Always to While Using!? Always or Never are not the best options.

Okay so I love pretty much everything about this app. However the one hang up is with the collage function! It just auto makes it and wont let you move pictures around to different spots! Hate to download a separate app just to make a collage of photos!!

I had a glitch on my iPod and all my clouds were wiped clean, but all my 21,000 photos were still here.

Imagine you have 30,000 photos and you suddenly realize that you want to show someone the waterfall you saw on a hike roughly four to six years ago and you cant even remember what it was called. Most people have to say "I will email you some photos sometime time, yeah, it was awesome, I wish I could remember what it was called." With Google Photos, you search your photos for "waterfall AND 2010-2012" and bam, its one of only a small number of results. You quickly resume conversation and impress your friends with your outdoorsy smart way of using technology.

Overall I love the app. But recently there has been issued where I take a picture and it wont show up in the gallery. I have to delete the app and reinstall it for the picture to show up. The photo appears with the native iOS app however. Fix this issue and Ill give it 5 stars.

I did a back-up of my photos to Google Photos on Monday and it has been running in background ever since even after I closed the app and even turned off my IPhone and powered it back on. During this time I used over 25gb of data over 4 days, when I would normally used about 2gb. According to iOS 9 battery usage, Google Photos has 75% usage rate. The problem is that I use Verizon MiFi (so it thinks I am on WiFi) and am now 20 gb over my monthly allowance, which will cost me over $200 in overage fees. Since I never suspected an app to be causing this type of problem, I went to Verizon believing I was somehow hacked, however that was not the case. Finally, trial and error lead me to finally delete Google Photos from my cell phone and my WiFi usage is now back to normal. Thanks Google...

I no longer have to worry about storage space, I can look up all my photos of a specific person in seconds and search through my 8000 photos by their content!

This is what this app gives me. Peace of mind! I know all of my photos and videos will be securely stored in the Google servers and Im never going to lose them, even if I lose my phone, or if my HD fails, my memories will be intact! Thank you so much, Google! Theres only one request I have for you, panoramas with a better resolution, thats all. I dont need the full resolution, just something usable, thatll let me pinch in and take a look at the details! Thats my only "complaint", more of a suggestion. Truly amazing service!

I love that I can back up all my photos.

Amazing app! Allows me to take off gigabytes of storage on my phone and groups my photos by people, places, and more! It also allows a user to edit their pictures without much need for a third party app. I took off a star because I would like to add photos into some of their automated albums, but it wont allow me to.

It helps clear up room on my phone.

I once loved this app. It has become very inconsistent in its ability to make animations/gifs. I also cant share the animations to social media any more. Especially if I want to share multiple animations. In the beginning it worked great. Ive tried all the usual fixes.
